Until October, primary school students (up to Year 8) have the opportunity to have experts answer their questions! Each month there is a different topic, ranging from space/astronomy to globalisation.
The Royal Society of New Zealand's experts will then select two questions per week to answer, and these will be posted on the Royal Society of New Zealand website and sent out to schools around the country.
For September, the topic is...
Planet Earth & Beyond
Your question can be about landforms, rocks, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, soil, landslides... and so on.
Examples could be: 'Why do there seem to be more landslides when it rains a lot?’ or ‘How does a volcano turn into an island?’
Send your questions by 24 August to make sure they're in the bag in time for the experts to choose from!
