Think like citizens of the future and investigate challenges and opportunities in transport in New Zealand.

Create solutions, raise questions or explore possibilities for the future.

Present your ideas for future transport (local or New Zealand-wide) as either a game or a narrative (which could be a story, photo essay, video, digital presentation etc).

C-Prize wearable tech competition


Can you come up with the next big thing in wearable technology - something that can turn an industry on its head?

Callaghan Innovation runs the C-Prize competition every two years. The challenge is to come up with technology solutions that deliver solutions to real industry problems.

The challenge has 3 themes: Live Healthier, Work Safer and Play Smarter. You can choose to participate in one or more of the challenges.

Up to 10 finalist teams will each be awarded a NZ$35,000 prize package. The grand-prize winner will be awarded a NZ$100,000 prize package.

Entries close Sunday 2 July.

Otago Wildlife Photography exhibition

See the winners of the 2017 Otago Wildlife Photography Competition displayed in Otago Museum.

Over 2,200 entries were received in the following categories:

Night skies
Human impact on the environment
Wildlife in action (video)

Vote for which you think should receive the People’s Choice award using the touchscreens in the exhibition.

The winner will be announced towards the end of the exhibition.
